The Loop Antenna

Trapezoid shaped loop (four sided), total length about 500 ft (150 m) and fed with ladder line in NW corner. The antenna was once much longer (about 140 feet longer), but it cut across too many branches and the adjustment was to make sure the wire is in free open space (but the trade-off was to make it a bit shorter, albeit taller).

We got some big trees here. Some of my tallest cedars are 160 ft tall.
